Here are some tips to make our the best experience possible:

Pre-Session Prep:

  • Enjoy a refreshing shower before your appointment.

  • Aim to arrive on time. If you are fewer than 15 minutes late, your appointment will begin when you arrive and end when it was scheduled to end. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be considered a no-show.

  • Follow the instructions sent to you via text. Did you respond to the instructions text letting me know you read it? That’s important.

Getting Comfy:

  • Remove rings, bracelets, necklaces, and long earrings.

  • Silence that phone of yours.

  • Most clients prefer to be nude, but if that's not your jam, keep on those comfy undies.

  • Stow your belongings in the black cubbies located on the far side of the room.

During the Massage:

  • If you have long hair, tie it up or throw it in a ponytail while face down, and let it loose when you flip over. This is to keep the oil out of your hair.

  • Lie facedown on the massage table.

  • Feel free to chat or enjoy the sensations in silence. The choice is yours.

  • Position your arms and hands however you like. I'll adjust as needed.

Session Progress:

  • It is not necessary to help me move you. You should relax and let me do the work.

  • Pushing against my hands to create the feeling of firmer pressure is not recommended. It will prevent me from soothing your muscles and may cause damage.

  • If you are having trouble relaxing, concentrate on your breathing and the sensations the massage is bringing to you.

  • I'll prompt you to turn over toward the middle of our session.

  • After the massage, we'll enjoy a few moments of silence before I wipe off the oil from your feet.

  • You'll hear a soothing singing bowl or a bell, indicating it's time for me to step out and give you some privacy.

  • Once I'm out, turn on the lamp, get dressed, and gather your belongings.

  • Open the door. I'll check you out and book your next appointment.

Friendly Reminders:

  • No judgment here! Feel comfortable in my space.

  • Minors must have a parent or guardian present at all times.

  • Same-day appointments are for returning clients only.

  • I play calming music, but if you have a preference, just let me know.

  • I don’t tend to chat much while I am focusing on helping you. However, if you feel like talking, I’m game.

  • Please note: I do not do deep tissue. Chances are, you don’t need it! I believe proper technique can get the job done. Applying heavier pressure can leave you feeling worse than you felt before the massage session.

  • My massage style is heavily inspired by Lomi Lomi and Swedish traditions. My massage techniques and yoga style are flow-focused.

Aftercare Tips:

  • Stretch, hydrate, and move your body!

  • I may suggest exercises. Check with your doctor before trying them.

  • I reserve the right to refuse service for any reason before, during, and after our session, but let's make our time enjoyable.

  • Speak up if you're uncomfortable during the session. That includes the temperature not being comfortable or anything else that might impede you from enjoying our session to the max.

  • Please skip perfumes. I’m very sensitive to heavy scents.

Booking Policies:

  • Cancellation within 24 hours incurs a $25 fee. The only exceptions are if you are sick or are experiencing a legitimate emergency. I use the honor system.

  • If you frequently reschedule and/or cancel your appointments, I may fire you as a client. Your time is valuable and so is mine.

  • No-shows will be charged the full appointment cost, even if you have a Groupon voucher.

  • Your late arrival means our session still ends on time. If I am late, you will get your full time.

  • A credit card must be on file even if you're paying with cash, have prepaid, or intend to use an e-pay app.

Payments accepted (in order of preference):

  • Cash

  • Zelle, Cash App, Venmo

  • Check (yes, I am one of those dinosaurs who still take checks as payment)

  • Credit/debit card

  • E-gift cards (see the e-gift card page on this website)

  • Groupon vouchers (new clients only, limit one per client)
